New Tours & Updates
We have added two new, multi-day tours: ‘Isle of Arran’ & ‘Glencoe & Loch Ness’ . You can read the reasons for adding such a well visited region onto Roaming Scotland itineraries, yet still keep to our ethos of taking people to the lesser visited places, in the previous blog: ‘Re-vitalising a well-worn tour experience’.
We’ve also been upgrading some of our single day tours such as ‘Picts and Glens’ to include a visit to the mysterious hill settlements of Caterthun in Angus. The ‘Eildon Hills’ day has been re-vamped to achieve a balance between hill climb and history, vigorous exercise and relaxing in a peaceful cafe courtyard in Old Melrose.
New routes up some of the ‘Climb a Hill’ days have been surveyed, with cafes and inns sampled for after the hike refreshments.
Finally, check out the ‘Dates & Offers’ tab, displaying dates for our varied outings over the summer period.. These aren’t all fixed in stone, so do request a tour with your date preference and we’ll do what we can to accommodate that.
