Here’s our latest piece of printed publicity, reflecting the growing demand for hill-guiding from among our Roaming Scotland services.

We are ideally located to pick up clients in our minibus for a single day trip from Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling and then guide them to the summit of a Munro, Corbett or other hill climb, just into the Highlands or Southern Uplands.. In fact we’ll pick up from wherever in Scotland for the day to climb hills local to a holiday location.

Several of our multi-day trips to the Highlands and Islands feature hill-walking adventures. There’s a dedicated section under ‘Highlands’ for the more hard-core hiking breaks set in the Cairngorms, Assynt and Knoydart. We also take clients on one of their bucket list type of adventures like hiking the epic Lairig Ghru, and lead international walking groups on their own bespoke adventures.

As a Mountain Guide, I get a lot of satisfaction from leading people to a Scottish summit, sometimes for their first time. The exhilaration and sense of achievement felt is infectious, rewarding me with an experience beyond a fine day in the hills in good company. It’s great to instill confidence in others and to equip with navigational and other hill-craft skills for their solo exploits.
